However, only in the dysfunctional black community is personal accountability completely ignored and something so predictable become a so called tragedy and an excuse for all their problems. <<< this response is a big part of the problem. If anything they should stop standing for the national anthem until the black community stops producing so many men like him. If a white guy is stupid enough to wave a gun and not listen to police, NO ONE CARES if he is shot and killed. Only when the black community evolves to this point will things get better. No heart. No desire. No balls. No brains is a given.  These two imaginary persons on Topix are two of the more gifted trolls that Topix has to offer. They understand absolutely every killing by police and know more about them than even the cops, and certainly the media. Just as Trump the candidate knows more about ISIS than the generals, these two trolls got it all figured out. It's about personal responsibility. They hold black people personally responsible for everything that has happened to them- except when it was the fault of liberals, that is.  Notice how the breakfast side-order admits that if a white dude in his neighborhood was killed like that, he wouldn't riot or protest. I'm assuming that he doesn't mean it as a one-off incident but rather, in the context of several hundred years of such incidents visited upon whites. He's white and if there was a history of whites being enslaved by blacks, freed, and then subjected to "James Crow Laws", segregation and then a fight for civil rights,  he'd get over it or something because that's what white people who embrace personal responsibility do.  What a pussy! If there ever is a race war in the United States (and these guys better hope there never is) they would be among the first to fall. Middle-aged muscles and a couple of trips to the gun range mean nothing up against the inherited skin pigmentation and the trauma of centuries of violence against that pigmentation.  Your average black person in the US quite likely knows someone who has been murdered or abused, by the police, and, if not, they know full well it could happen to them. There are 3,446 recorded lynchings of blacks in American history. If you're scoring at home, that means there were many, many more that never made the papers or history. That means thousands of black families have that in their ancestry. Add in the black prison population and you have a people well-versed in suffering.  What upsets white people? Not standing for the anthem, taxing rich people or winning or losing sporting events. The latter is what they riot over. The second is what they plot secession over and the first just makes them sad. White people may be running things but they are not a cohesive race. There's not a lot of portfolio there when you are the oppressors.  Now, admittedly, I am white. I hate to think anyone would lump me in with those two assholes based on my pigmentation. They won't. THAT is white privilege. All us white people are different because we are white. That's diversity. All blacks are the same though and even Sublime acknowledges that there are some good ones. Just not as good as those hard-working, studious Asians which seems to be a current theme among the passive-aggressive white racists of intellectual means. Pick a small ethnic group and use them to show black people what they could be like, if only they would apply themselves and, I reckon, get over the slavery stuff. Something they would certainly have done a long time ago if it had happened to them. You know, like the Irish. There is an internet school of thought that says the indentured servitude of colonial times was actually slavery on the same scale as the African slavery that has been documented. It just hasn't been documented well though, probably because the Irish got over it. You know how they never complain. Sigh. Trump or not, it's not going to get better. That's not for lack of trying. It's for lack of trying hard enough and continuing to try. And that goes for everyone. We are all too quick to declare things over and done.
