I've got a *friend* on Facebook, whom I've blocked. That' is why there are *'s around friend. She's still a friend but, she's someone whose political crap is something I've long since grown tired of seeing on my newsfeed. I mean- it's all well and good that she thinks Ron Paul will save America but, I cannot be convinced of this even after a thousand links saying so. Add to that a few thousand more links about Barack Obama's plans to enslave us and you might agree that looking at her page every once in awhile to see how her kids have grown is much more sane and practical.

I can never mind the disingenuous whining about something being *unconstititional* despite the USSC saying it is, indeed, constitutional. So, I'm watching a rerun of AMC's wonderful "Walking Dead" series. There's a scene where Shane, the bad cop, beats the snot out of a miscreant wife-abuser. With the editing, special effects and all that Hollywood stuff we've grown up with, it looks pretty much like Shane is really putting a whuppin' on that ol' boy.
Under a Romney administration, he WOULD! That's right. Hollywood make up artists (probably all gay anyway) are elitist. That kinda shit costs money! Things that cost money cut into profits. Without profits, there's nothing to trickle down and we become socialists. No one wants that.
Romney's plan, based on Greek Theatre of old, would use slaves (democrat/liberals) as real-life victims in shows. The scene calls for a face-beating? Beat an actual face! How much more real can it get? This can be done in one take and for a fraction of the cost of the ridiculously expensive Obama plan. And, you can't beat realism. We need good, old-fashioned realism instead of this expensive, fake stuff. Why not use real guns and bullets on cop shows? And real blood instead of the more photogenic chocolate syrup. Anything else circumvents the 2A, something Hollywood liberals have been trying to do for decades. The founders DID NOT endow us with the supreme right to bear stunt, blank arms!! How the hell do people think we beat England like that??!
Now, of course, some people might balk at this. Liberal/democrat *actors* might be those some people. We all know how difficult they can be. Look, if you volunteer, your family in the camp get an extra ration of gruel. If you don't, they get nothing like the America-haters they are!

You already know my thoughts on all of this.
Do you think that once this all actually kicks in, and people realise that the world as they know it hasn't come to an end, they will just shut up and accept it?
From what I've seen on the TV, some of the people who will benefit most seem to be against it. It's not just the rich bleating.
Where do they get the idea that having a social conscience means no profits? Where do they think the money comes from? It comes from taxes, and to be able to tax people they need to be working.
They're all big 'Christian' tub-thumpers, or so they would have you believe, so where is the compassion that Christ taught in all of this? There will always be people among us who, for whatever reason, are unable to care for themselves. Socialism, which in the US seems to be interchangeable with Communism, is Christ's teachings put into practice. I'm not religious but I do believe in treating others as I would like to be treated - and you never know when you might be in need yourself.
Like I've said before, they seem to put more store in the Old Testament than the New, and that has nothing at all to do with Christ and Christianity.
There's 300+ million people in this country and, honestly, most are dumbasses. They just don't know how to think! Most of life is self-explanatory. Well, it should be. Follow The Golden Rule...the 10 Commandmants are pretty good too. But, stop and think: Does THIS make sense? The same people who think Obama is trying to take over the country cannot FATHOM that the 400 richest people in the country can't and won't do this themselves but one black man can? It's INSANE! These people can make nonsense out of anything! Jay Leno does the Tonight Show now. He has a bit where he asks random people on the street, very simple questions. Age doesn't seem to matter. Most have no idea, i.e. who we fought in WWII. Never mind history classes, the war has been on TV for decades! Still, they guess? China? VietNam? England? Unbelievable... So, how can they grasp socialism v. communism or know that programs we have had for decades like Social Security are *socialist*? Most education is a test to see how much you retain of what they told you was important. Few are expected to think any more.
I think they should teach 'critical thinking' in schools.
............mind you, if you teach people to think for themselves maybe they will question what is being dished up. They wouldn't like that!
